Short Film Fest 2010 Competition for Students of French and German
The length of the clips for the French Film Festival, Les Voisins, should be approximately 3 – 4 minutes long and certainly no longer than 6.
They should be in French although they don’t have to be wall-to-wall talking.
Teachers are permitted to advise students on the accuracy of the language (as you would for an NCEA writing) but the creative and linguistic input must be the students’ own.
In cases of using copyrighted material such as music you should apply the usual standards pertaining to your school remembering that the clips will ultimately be compiled into a CD for distribution to schools.
